The Gift Bearers take the gifts of bread and wine to the priest during the Preparation of the Gifts. Gift Bearers should assemble at the gift table as the Prayers of the Faithful begin then proceed to the Sanctuary at a nod from the priest. At the sanctuary the priest receives the gifts and places them on the altar.
If you are celebrating a special occasion, such as a wedding anniversary, you may wish to offer your services as a Gift Bearer during the Mass.
